This is an authentic and hand-printed etching print. The motif is etched into a metal plate and then run through a roller press to be printed. The process of reapplying the ink by hand makes each print unique in its tone and texture within the edition.
About this etching
Spraypaint aquatint, line-etching, burnishing on zinc. Printed on 300g/sm Fabriano Watercolour paper with Gamblin Portland cool black ink.
Scots pines are easily the prettiest trees ever, so I just had to make a big etching of them. This is also inspired by the lakes in Berlin and all the times I went there with friends throughout my life. I like how landscapes can be so constant while everything else changes so rapidly.

This etching ships packed in acid free tissue paper and rolled up inside a tube. IMPORTANT: The lids are stapled for extra security. Remove the staples of the lids entirely before pulling out the print! Bitte die Tackernadeln aus den Deckeln vollständig entfernen!
Display and care
A safe way to display it is usually in a glass frame with a passepartout. Please avoid long-term exposure of the print to direct sunlight and very high air humidity. Store only in materials that do not attack the paper or ink.
