This is an authentic and hand-printed etching print. The motif is etched into a metal plate and then run through a roller press to be printed. The process of reapplying the ink by hand makes each print unique in its tone and texture within the edition.
About this etching
Pleinair Drypoint etching on zinc, made from the same spot at lake Schlachtensee in Berlin, where the German impressionist painter Walter Leistikow (1856-1908) once painted.
Printed on Fabriano Watercolour 200 g/sm paper. Ink: Charbonnel Carbon Black.

Display and care
A safe way to display it is usually in a glass frame with a passepartout. Please avoid long-term exposure of the print to direct sunlight and very high air humidity. Store only in materials that do not attack the paper or ink.
